Romanised continued his smart start in the jumping sphere as Wishful Eyes became his third winner from as many recent runners over hurdles, following the victories of Film Director and Roman Skies earlier in the week.

Trained by Mickael Seror for owner-breeder Robert Ng, the filly made a taking debut when scoring by two and a half lengths in the Prix Vallon des Auffes (3m½f, hurdles) on Monday at Cagnes-sur-Mer. Held up off the pace, she travelled kindly throughout and quickened decisively under Ludovic Philipperon to assert in the final furlong.
Out of Dynamite, she was bred by H. Honoré, C. Clément and H. Hermans. The performance further underlines the promising early profile of Romanised as a sire of young jumpers, with a flawless three-from-three strike in recent weeks.
Congratulations to her breeders, to owner Robert Ng and to the whole team connected with the filly.
