Haras de Castillon-based first-season stallions Marhaba Ya Sanafi & Tribalist have both had their first mares scanned in foal.

Tribalist, the most successful European Group winner over a mile of the past decade, has made a perfect start with four mares tested and all four in foal. Among them are Grand Blonde, a sister to the Group 1-placed classic performer Texas, the black-type mare Atlantica, a multiple stakes-placed runner, and Wajd, a Sea The Stars daughter of the stakes winner Wajnah.

Classic Group 1 winner Marhaba Ya Sanafi as also had his first mares confirmed in foal, including Love Song, a daughter of Lope De Vega from the immediate family of Group 1 performers Alix Road and Lilac Road.

It marks an encouraging start to the season for the two new stallions, both of whom are receiving strong support from breeders in their first year at stud.
