Romanised continued his productive run this week with two further winners in France, as THE BEST GLORY returned to winning ways at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat while SISSI IMPERATRICE landed a handicap at Mont-de-Marsan.

The three-year-old filly THE BEST GLORY made a successful seasonal return in the Prix de Burdigala over 1,200 metres at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat. Ridden by Samy Le Quilleuc for trainer Allan Estrabol, the daughter of Romanised showed her speed to defeat maryzia by two and a half lengths.

Bred by Robert Ng out of the Acclamation mare Wondrous Scene, THE BEST GLORY had already shown considerable promise at two when winning twice, including on debut at Tarbes, before competing in Listed company later in the season. Her Bordeaux success marks an encouraging start to her three-year-old campaign.

Romanised’s second winner of the week came courtesy of SISSI IMPERATRICE, who prevailed in the Prix de la Midouze, a 1,600-metre handicap at Mont-de-Marsan. Trained by Frédéric Sanchez and ridden by Clément Cadel, the four-year-old filly battled gamely to score by a narrow margin from garmi.

SISSI IMPERATRICE, out of Dont Teutch by Country Reel, was bred by the succession of H. de Talhouet-Roy and races in the colours of Jean-Pierre Vanden Heede and Frédéric Sanchez.

These latest victories further underline the consistency of Romanised’s runners across different levels of competition, with his progeny continuing to deliver winners on French tracks as the season gathers momentum.
