Romanised has wasted no time getting on the scoreboard in the new year as Immortalised became the sire’s first winner of 2026 when scoring on debut for the season at Gulfstream Park on January 2.

Trained by Brendan P. Walsh and ridden by Tyler Gaffalione, the three-year-old colt made a decisive breakthrough in a maiden optional claiming contest, showing a professional attitude to come clear on his second career start.

Bred in France by Elevage Haras de Bourgeauville, Immortalised is out of the Montjeu mare Notte d’Oro and was sold through Bourgeauville before being secured by the Feld family, who race him in partnership with Starry Night Racing.

His success marks the 14th individual winner from Romanised’s second crop, underlining the continued momentum of the dual Group 1 winner’s early stud career.
